Hello, welcome to my little corner!
I am custodian of a family archive that reflects my extended family’s nostalgia and sentimental possessions: letters, photographs, diaries, all sorts of paraphernalia speaking of the people they once belonged to. Old and lost memories are ready to be found in this collection. Until now, these memories, voices and secrets have lain silent and undisturbed. Slowly, but surely, I will share these stories with you as I uncover them myself.
This website, research and writing is a passion project. I bring a professional rigour to family history and memoir based on my Professional Historians Association (Victoria & Tasmania) accreditation. I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Art & Architecture and History and a Master in Cultural Heritage, both from Deakin University. I spent the past sixteen years in the public service working in archives, heritage and creative sectors, with five years working for heritage consultancies and freelancing in history.
